Students will gather data and observations and complete a Claim, Evidence, Reasoning Statement in Google Classroom.
ASSIGNMENTS:

To further learn about the properties of different materials, students are watching an episode of NOVA Making Stuff Smarter. Students will need to identify the properties of each material and how it solves a specific problem.

This week in science students are learning about the physical properties of matter. These include things like you can observe with your senses: color, shape, smell, feel and so on. We will have a series of activities throughout the week investigating various physical properties. Students missing a class should come see me in order to review the activities from class.

Students complete their Mass, Volume and Density quizzes in class today. Students earning less than a 3 should review the material and plan to retake the quiz sometime next week during an SLT period.
Students are applying what they have learned about measuring and calculating mass, volume and density to online simulations using a program called Gizmo.
